LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Digital Signage Association will hold its first advisory board meeting in Las Vegas in conjunction with the Digital Signage Expo. The meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 2 – 4 p.m. in room N247 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. At 4 p.m., the meeting will be opened to all DSA members as well as those interested in learning more about DSA and its plans.
"The Digital Signage Association gives Cisco the opportunity to connect with others who are also strategically and creatively thinking about digital media and digital signage. Collectively we can help influence the direction of the industry and further accelerate the exciting pace at which it is growing," said Thomas Wyatt, general manager of digital media systems for Cisco Systems and DSA board member.
Formed in November, DSA now has more than 50 member companies.
The purpose of DSA is to:
Increase the awareness and understanding of digital signage.
Advance the effectiveness and professionalism of those participating in the digital signage industry as vendors and deployers.
Be a resource for information about digital signage.
DSA’s stated goals and objectives are to:
Create value for digital signage companies to belong to DSA.
Be the most effective representative of the digital signage industry.
Bring together those who would benefit from digital signage technology and those who offer and support such technology.
Facilitate networking among the many companies and individuals working in digital signage.
