Rollouts

24 Sep 2007

1. Please describe your company’s primary product or service.

Rollouts deploys digital signage and self-service kiosk networks quickly and professionally at hundreds to thousands of sites nationwide in a matter of weeks.  When the scale of the project seems too huge to handle: Remember Rollouts – it’s what we do.

Rollouts delivers – the onsite services needed to successfully deploy in short timeframes.  Our technicians perform site surveys, prepare the infrastructure for the deployment, install the systems, validate that the systems are operating to specification and cleanup the site as required.

2. What makes your company unique?

Rollouts focuses on delivering successful rollouts.  Rollouts has deployed more than 500,000 systems to over 100,000 sites across the USA and Canada.  Our planning, recruitment, staffing, and project management infrastructure allows us to deploy proven technicians with skill sets matching the unique requirements of our customers to hundreds or thousands of sites in short time-frames.  Large, multi-site rollouts are our strength.

3. What is your marketing philosophy for the self-service industry?

“Remember Rollouts – it’s what we do”   Our company markets to partners who are responsible for delivering a self-service or digital signage solution to nationwide firms with hundreds of sites across North America.  We do not market to end users.

4. What other business sectors do you operate in?

Rollouts works with companies delivering technology solutions to hundreds of local places of business.  Rollouts currently operates in: Self-Service / Kiosk, Point of Sale (POS), Digital Signage, Wireless (WAP), RFID, Server / Router Upgrades, Vehicle Telematics, Security Cameras, and VOIP.

5. Give a brief history of the company.

Rollouts was founded in 1997 to connect local technicians with national projects.  The old “tiger-team” approach of sending engineers from site-to-site across the nation became untenable as national retail chains displaced regional players.  As site counts increased from tens to thousands, the costs associated with this outmoded implementation process exploded.  This led to the introduction of Rollouts’ proprietary web-based tools, including e-technicians.net.

6. Why did you join Self-Service & Kiosk Association?

We were approached by several current partners to become part of this association.

7. What do you like about our industry? What are some of the challenges?

The self-service industry is a market that has embraced new technologies that can directly improve the quality of life. In addition it is an industry that shows tremendous opportunity for growth as the population becomes more comfortable with the technology.  Perhaps the biggest challenge is the challenge of its own success – rapid growth.  This is where Rollouts can help.  Rollouts can smooth the bumps in the road as these very large projects move from pilot to retail floor.

8. What does the future hold for your company’s success in the self-service industry?

As consumers become more comfortable with technology, the growth of the self-service industry will accelerate.  Rapid full-chain implementation will become the rule.  Remember Rollouts – it’s what we do!
